Acoustic Measurement and Engineering

WE’VE GOT A GRUDGE AGAINST NOISE.

FAIST noise measurement at the workplace and noise-protection measures

The Regulation concerning implementation of EU Directives 2002/44/EG and 2003/10/EG for protection of staff from the hazards of noise and vibration is the basis for maximum permissible sound levels at your company’s workplaces.

FAIST noise measurement at the workplace

Our noise measurements in noise producing areas form the basis for a custom-tailored noise-protection concept at the workplace. The values for sound levels are 80 dB (A) and 85 dB (A), distributed over an average workday of eight hours. If these values are exceeded in a noise measurement at the workplace, you as an employer must take countermeasures.

Our services:

// Noise measuring/sound emission measuring at the workplace and other locations established under DIN EN ISO 11204

// Measuring of airborne sound reduction under DIN EN ISO 140

// Laboratory measuring under DIN EN ISO 140

FAIST engineering/consulting for noise protection at the workplace

We will advise you on a workplace and noise-protection concept carefully aligned to your needs. We will, of course, take into consideration your specific sequence of operations when we recommend effective ceiling and wall coverings, protective barriers and casings. Aspects such as logistics, design and cost-benefit ratio are other important parameters. We recommend you contact us during your acoustic planning phase for a noise-protection concept. Precisely in this early stage of your project, simple means can often achieve remarkable results and head off subsequent costly noise-protection measures.

Our services:

// Construction-acoustical consulting in the planning of new construction and for old buildings

// Consulting on noise protection in buildings and exterior noise

// Room-acoustical consulting in the planning of new construction and for old buildings

// Layout of acoustic free-field rooms under DIN EN ISO 3745 and DIN EN ISO 3744

// Layout of reverberation rooms under DIN EN ISO 354

// Development of technical noise-protection measures
